Forest Hill Christian Church

BRIEF HISTORY

We initially started off as a community based Christian ministry operating in Forest Hill Port Elizabeth, specifically serving the needy people of this suburb as well as those from the nearby military base.

The initial vision at the beginning of 2003 was to plant a Children’s Church and in doing so, reach whole families with the Gospel of Christ, with the ultimate goal of planting a vibrant local church in Forest Hill.

This goal was realized in 2004-2005 with a subsequent name change from Forest Hill Ministries to Forest Hill Christian Church.

Through new and ongoing relationships formed in 2006, the leadership of the church began to align itself with NCMI (New Covenant Ministries International). In so doing, Forest Hill Christian Church seeks to be known as an independent church relating to the apostolic oversight of NCMI.
