VISION & MANDATE
Our mission in Forest Hill is to plant (est. 2003) and build a vibrant Christian Church that will continue to grow and positively effect the community with the Good News of JESUS CHRIST.
The harvest in Forest Hill is plentiful, but the workers are few………(Matt. 9:37). Yes, we have been sent out and as we labour according to His mandate we trust that more workers will be added to our number so that we will see His Kingdom truly come and be established here in this very dark and needy place.
We also beseech the Lord of the harvest that He will help us to raise and train up additional faithful workers from within so that they too may become part of this work and even be sent out to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15)
We believe that God has called us to this suburb to be the salt and the light. We know that “the Spirit of the Lord God is upon us, because the Lord has anointed us to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent us to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoners;” (Isaiah 61)
